((A lot of this information was written by Michael and I
thank him for such detailed information.))
Name: King
Age: 18
Role: Student, Binding Force, Only Guy Most of the Others
Listen to.
Odd Aspects: He is one of the many students who possesses
amnesia that was gained since joining the Academy and, for one reason or
another, gained his name from the other students. (Probably cause he is one of
the most well-liked and respected students in the Academy.)
Likes: Music (listening and
playing), reading, Karen (too dense to realize it normally), learning new
skills, martial arts, cooking, friendly competition, being relied on,
truthfulness and loyalty.
Dislikes: Being wrong, losing,
failure, selfishness, pork, those that dislike brass instruments,
bullies/bullying, dishonesty, betrayal, poorly thought out plans, and his own
weaknesses.
Clothing Style: He is one of the few that wears the basic
uniform to any notable extent with the only difference being that he chose to
wear the blazer (Still part of the uniform.) instead of the basic jacket.
Grades/Work: He does anywhere from Cs to As depending on the
class in question, making him one of the few with a reasonable mix of grades.
He also works as a supervisor at the local mom-pop convenient store. Honestly
he is the only employee that isn’t family, but they gave him that title.
Factions: Of all things he is a part of the school jazz
band.
General Description: As one of the most “normal” of the
students, King remains just as busy as most of the other students. He can
normally be found at band practice, working at the convenient store, or simply
at his top floor, studio apartment on the border between Spark University and
Jump Academy territory. At least… That is the majority of the time. Otherwise
he can be found arguing/fighting with Dingo, keeping track of his many friends,
hanging out with Tadek, making sure that Tadek and Sigmund stay out of trouble,
and making sure that D. isn’t being bullied by Dingo or anyone else in Dingo’s
gang.
Mentality: Befitting of his name he tends to be the most
level-headed of the students, but also one of the most protective and does have
a breaking point when it comes to Dingo’s actions or Tadek’s mindset when
Tadek’s stability starts to worsen. While King does hide most of his emotions,
they have a habit of coming out whenever no one is around or he has been pushed
too far, but unlike Tadek, he actually allows himself to feel emotion with
positive emotions readily seen.
Relationships (Others view of Person): Positive – Most
People. Neutral – Bremer? Negative – Shio, Aliseris
Relationships (View of Others):
Amelia: Confusing, but not a bad person. Her
prankster attitude can test his patience, but he knows she never means any
harm. Her laziness is something he's both concerned about and amazed by, as she
seems to do nothing, but is more than capable when she starts to put forth
effort. He's a little jealous.
Dingo: Not mincing words, he doesn't have the highest opinion of him, but thinks
he can better himself with the right amount of effort. Finds his confidence in
himself admirable to a point, and worrying once you further that same point. As
outspoken and brazen as he is, their conflicting viewpoints often would
probably lead to arguments and potentially fights when King's patience is past
its limit.
Desmond (D): Someone that needs to better believe in themselves and contest
what others like to do to take advantage of his demeanor. Since D's a good
target for bullying (most notably from Dingo), King would be compelled to stand
up for him and try to build his confidence up. They'd get along pretty well.
Sigmund: While a tad uncouth, much like Amelia, his head is in the right place.
Sigmund's boisterous and generally hot blooded attitude mixed with his strong
sense of right and wrong would prompt King to want to help keep him out of
trouble. Not one to back down from a challenge, King would want to keep him
from stooping or going below the level of any bullies he put himself against. While
Sigmund's excitable personality might seem annoying to someone looking in, King
appreciates Sigmund's willingness/capability of showing his emotions without
fear.
Tadek: While he likes to hide under his mask of "edge", King believes
there's a good person underneath it all. While Tadek brings King's own mask for
emotions to his mind, he feels Tadek's attempts to also deny himself the
feelings aren't good. King's nature doesn't let him give up on the
"edgelord" like most others would probably, and they'd probably often
get caught up long discussions about various topics. King would try to be there
to stop Tadek from clashing too heavily with the others and attempt t be the
least judgmental. Wouldn't be afraid to give Tadek a good punch to stop him
from doing something stupid either.
Shio: A strange individual he unconsciously keeps his distance from. Her's is
most likely the personality that grates on him the most, and her lack of tact
at times seems irreparable. Otherwise he's not really got much of an opinion.
Aliseris: There's a dangerous aura about this one. Whenever she's around, King
finds himself on edge and unintentionally keeping tabs on her.
Bremer: Does this mysterious Bremer even exist? Is he one of the thirteen
wonders of the school? A ghost of a past student? Perhaps he's just never made
a strong impression, but King would (at the current time) be hard pressed to
remember who this person is.
Mordred: It's odd to see someone with a moral code like her's together with a
guy like Dingo, but here it is. They oft say that girls love "bad
boys" and this seems to be a good example of it. While the amount of love
and care they have for each other seems abnormally high given the
circumstances, it does raise King's opinion on Dingo. Mordred sans the association
with Dingo seems like someone that could share a similar viewpoint on some
topics, but their methods to handle situations seem drastically different. In the end, I'd say they have a mutual
respect for each other (until King said something about Dingo that she felt
wasn't forgivable.).
Gennadius: "We're kindred spirits, you and I." Similar, yet vastly
different. These two would find solace one another's similarities, and probably
a lasting friendship due to their differences. Funnily enough, they'd
each probably cancel the other's denseness when it came to their respective
romances. Gennadius' lack of self confidence (much like D's) would bring out
King's mentor side. He'd be quite impressed with Gen's dedication to Amelia,
and fully support the two's relationship.
Yankaka: "... Tadek... You're girlfriend's trying to bite Sora's arm
again." While unassuming when preoccupied with getting Tadek's attention
and not in "rival mode", once that flip is switched King's danger
sense would dial up to eleven. He'd wonder how she and Tadek decided to start
dating, but would support the relationship all the same. He'd be at a loss when
trying to converse with her and probably end up treating her like a child.
Grey&Guile: Umm, I guess most of Sigmund's applies here, except Amelia
would keep them in check. King may or may not interact with them as frequently.
Gaufrid: A man of few actions and fewer words is what King would use to
describe him. They'd probably respect the other, but I can't see them really
having many meaningful interactions casually. Perhaps in a club or something
they'd talk more.
Gregory: A bit protective of his older sister (Amelia), but King wouldn't see
that as a negative. If memory serves, King would see Gregory as more mature
than his age would imply. I don't see the two clashing in interactions.
Julia: As arguably the most normal companion that exists, King wouldn't have a
problem with her. Not much more I can really say on this.
Lucifina: I'd say they'd initially have poor interactions until either Amelia
mellowed her out, or King realized Amelia was by far the more dangerous one.
Don't know what would get them to really interact besides being in the same
class.
KARP OF MAGI: He's like a less crude, more boisterous and masculine version of
Sigmund. While very loud, King wouldn't have a problem with him.
Dusty (D's froggit from Undertale): A pretty cool pet. Seems to understand
humans more than any other pet King's seen.
All of Sigmund's companions: Good people. They could become friends easy enough
(Not knowing much Fire Emblem, I don't have a grasp on their personalities as
well). Takumi is a bit protective of his younger brother and King would have no
qualms bringing it up. Hinata... just seems like a good guy. Lucina and Owain? Your
guess is as good as mine.
Medusa: "Tadek, is it normal for a snake to be so attached to a human? She
doesn't seem to like anyone but you."
Bang: Who couldn't like Bang Shishigami? While King would want to bring his
lofty ambitions to a more down to earth level, there's something to admire
about such a steadfast adherence to the concept of justice and what it means to
be a hero.
